The Oriental Institute it actually gives you a feeling of really going to a college of your dream. It has good infrastructure and provides you with a wide range of opportunities. It has very helping and knowledgeable faculty. The hostels, food, campus its all good. If you want to shape your future here then you can prefer this college.

Campus Facilities: The college provides you three hostels , two for girls and one boys hostel. All the three hostels have separate mess and the quality of food is average but the maintenance and infrastructure is really worth it. The classrooms are also cleaned everyday and very hygienic campus. It consists of labs for all different branches different labs. The college provides you a central library which provides a wide variety of books like it contains journals, biographies, magazines, all kinds of subjective and competitive books. It also have an e-library where you you can read books online which is not available in the library. The students living outside the college hostels can live in the nearby area which is comparatively less costly and the food facility is also there. There are many hostels and rooms available there and there are many mess outside. So you will not face any difficulty living in campus and outside it. The college ATM is closed now but you can go out of the college there are many ATMs outside near the college. The area outside college is very good and friendly. There is nothing to worry about living alone or with friends outside the campus hostels. You can enjoy your life living outside. In hostels there are strict restrictions about the timing. When you want to go home that moment you need to suffer a bit because you need to take lots of sign on the form and need to make call to your parents. The only frustration I got was this only otherwise living in college hostels gave me a very good experience living with so many people and at night we used to go on a walk inside the campus because it has a very refreshing environment and proper cleaned.

Campus Life: There was a tech fest last year in which n no. of events were organized and that was the best time we had with our friends and we really enjoyed a lot. There was fashion show, open stage, roadies, treasure hunt, dance, singing, mimicry, bike show, and after all this we had celebrity night which have all our hearts. We have participated in many activities and won in that. There were sports activity as well in which badminton, basketball, cricket, volleyball, handball, chess, are all includes. There were also some e-games like valor ant and some more. We literally had our best time in the college with our friends and we enjoyed hard. We had the best experience coming in this college. The tech fest generally organized in the month of March or April. In the celebrity night the singers are called and it gives you a felling of party in the college with all your friends, seniors, teachers and everyone. They all enjoy with you. You will be able to see some unknown faces and you will be able to make new friends during this phase.

Faculty: The faculties here are very supportive, understanding and knowledgeable. The teaching method is I could say brilliant because they will make you understand the topic by giving real life examples so that you will not forget the concept easily able to remember it for a long time. There are some faculties that are from 20-30 years working in here. Although they are this old and the teaching somewhere gone more advanced than this but still there way of teaching is something that cannot be taught anywhere. They are really brilliant.

Placements: There are some kinds of Internships that the college offers and make you complete those in the campus itself. But there are many internships that the college will let you know via message in your respective groups. So you can apply there if you have all the required skills. The placement rate this year is quite low but the companies offered a good package to the students that are got selected. There are students which are selected in more than two companies as well. When you apply for the internships and you performs well than you may get a job offer from there.
