UIEt is the engineering department of PU. The students have access to entire PU campus , hostel,sports facilities, library facilities which is a plus point for the students. The campus placements are decent and it is a tier 1 college. Annual techno cultural fest - Goonj also occurs every March and many clubs exist such as Brand Promotion Committee, Music Club, Bhangra Crew, Debating Society, Western Dance Club, Comic Club, Art Club , Etc and technical societies like IEEE, SAE , SBE , robotics and E-Cell. The faculty is well experienced and research facilities are also present for the students in DIC labs. Cons-> Labs facilities need to be improved -> Attendance criteria Pros - > Learn in Panjab University -> Good alumni network -> High placement chances -> Good reserach facilities -> Chandigarh has good networking opportunities

Campus Facilities: College campus is nice as it is Punjab University Campus which itself is a small city with its own market. The campus is in old chandigarh thus has very useful sectors nearby. Hostels are easily alloted to girls and Boys can get hostels in campus or nearby sectors. We have SBI bank branch in college itself. Canteen and Nescafe is also there , Stu-C is nearby for variety food options. Enough Lecture HAlls, Classrooms and labs are there for each branch as per requirement. Lbrary and Seminar Hall are also there.

Campus Life: Campus life is nice a swe have many events throughout the year. Small events + Goonj(annual fest) , Legacy( BPC event) , UIETMUN , UDyami, Izaad , etc. Many clubs are there like GDSC,IEEE,BPC,SAE,SBE,DebSoc,TPC,EDC, etc.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and very well experienced.They all have PHd degrees and good knowledge about their domains. each brnach has dedicated set of proffesors who are literally experts . They are easily approachable too.

Placements: Placements at UIET are good for most branches like you can expect good placement if you are in the top 50% of the college. Biotech branch faces some issues though. Avg package is about 9 LPA.Companies like ZScaler, AMex, ZS Associates, KPMG, Samsum , Bharat Electronics, Mahindra and Mahindra, Oshneering, Piority, etc visit us

Start Up Incubator: TBIU is the startup incubator of the college. Many startups like Envinova, Recyteq etc are working there currently.
