Assam CEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2018 is a list of conditions laid down by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam for candidates planning to appear in Assam CEE 2018. Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2018 lists requirements of age, educational qualification, nationality, domicile etc. As per Assam CEE 2018 eligibility criteria, only Indian citizens who are permanent residents of Assam can appear in the examination. Candidates aged between 17-21 who have passed the Qualifying Examination (QE) with specified marks in the same sitting can apply for Asam CEE 2018. However, there is a relaxation of the upper age limit for SC/ ST candidates as well as those who have cleared B.Sc. Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

All requirements stated in Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2018 are communicated in details below.

Nationality: To appear in Assam CEE 2018, candidates must be citizens of India.

Domicile: As per Assam CEE 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.

Age limit: Candidates must be between 17-21 years of age as on August 1, 2018.

Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST candidates: The upper age limit for SC and SC candidates has been relaxed upto 3 years.

Relaxation in age limit for B.Sc. Pass candidates: In case of candidates who have cleared B.Sc., the upper age limit is 22 years.

Qualifying Examination (QE):

(a) Candidates who have appeared/ cleared 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board are eligible to appear in Assam CEE 2018.

(b) As per Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2018, candidates who have passed B.Sc. Can also apply for the exam.
