BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria and Courses Offered

The BITSAT 2024 entrance exam is for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes in Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa BITS campuses. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2024. We provide the all information related to the BITSAT 2024 eligibility criteria in this article.

BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• For Engineering and M.Sc programs, candidates should have passed the qualifying examination viz., 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
• For B.Pharmacy candidates should have passed the qualifying examination viz., 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central or State Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are also eligible to apply for B.Pharmacy courses.
• Candidates who are appearing for the 12^th Class or equivalent examination in 2024 or who have already passed this qualifying examination in 2024 are eligible to appear in BITSAT-2024.
• Candidates should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (in case of opting for Mathematics course) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects (in case of opting for Biology course), in the qualifying examination (12^th or equivalent), with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects as the case may be.
• In case a candidate has taken more than one attempt in the qualifying examination only his latest performance is considered, provided such an attempt has been for the full component of subjects prescribed.
• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in 2020 or earlier are not eligible to appear in BITSAT 2024.
• Admissions will be made purely on merit and the position of merit will be based on the score obtained by the candidate for admission in BITSAT-2024.
• Meritorious candidates who secured the first rank in Central or State board examinations will be admitted directly to the programs of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2024 score as per the eligibility criteria.
