JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form and Steps to Fill Online

JEE ADVANCED 2018 entrance exam is organized by IIT Madras and has two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II compulsory for all candidates. For Architecture candidates there is an aptitude test Architecture Aptitude Test AAT which has separate registration from 2nd week of June 2017.While filling the application form candidate has to choose which paper he/she intend to attend and in which mode he/she prefer to give the exam. JEE Advanced 2018 online registration begins from 2nd week of December 2017.

JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form:

 Documents Required for filling JEE Advanced Application form 2018:

All Candidates:

i) Class X certificate if date of birth is mentioned or Birth Certificate

ii) Class XII or equivalent certificate who appeared this exam in 2017 or whose result declared after June 2016

iii) If name is not same as Class X certificate, gazetted notification showing the change of name.

For Candidates seeking admission under the OBC-NCL category

i) OBC-NCL certificate FORM-OBC-NCL should have been issued on or after 1stApril, 2017 in confirmation with the latest guidelines.

ii) If the candidate fails to collect the OBC-NCL certificate before online registration, they may upload Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL certificate to that effect.

For Candidates seeking admission under the SC or ST category

  • Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (FORM-SC/ST).

For Candidates seeking admission under the PwD category

i) Physical Disability certificate (FORM-PwD II/III/IV whichever is applicable]) issued by the notified medical authority.

ii) Dyslexic candidate needs to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of FORM-PwD. The certificate must mention ‘SEVERE’ to enable the candidate get the benefit of PwD category.

iii) Individual IITs may constitute a medical board at the time of admission to test the candidate’s level of disability.

For Candidates needing the services of a scribe

  • Request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal coordinating IIT (FORM-SCRIBE).

For Candidates seeking admission under the DS category

  • Certificate (FORM-DS) issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

For PIO/OCI Card holders

  • PIO card or OCI certificate, as applicable.

For Candidates whose Class XII examination Board is outside India or not listed

  • A certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination qualified by the candidates is equivalent to the Class XII examination.

Steps to Register and Apply Online:

  1. Register in the portal using JEE Main 2018 roll no and password created at the time of JEE Main 2018 registration.
  2. Login to provide the data required along with your choice of medium/language of question paper English or Hindi and choose the centre of the examination.
  3. The candidate can add another phone number if necessary, on the top of the numbers provided during JEE Main 2018 registration. JEE Advanced 2018 result will be sent to one of these numbers by SMS.
  4. Upload the scanned copies of requisite documents.
  5. Upload the scanned image of his/her photograph and signature.

  •  Pay the registration Fee. Registration fee is NON REFUNDABLE.
