BIT Sindri is a government college. Various big companies like TATA, Vedanta, Adani, Samsung, Infosys, Aditya Birla, Wipro, Google, Amazon, etc. are comes in the campus every year for placements. Bit sindri is a great and pocket friendly college. It will take aprox Rs 2,40,000 for b.tech, and tution fees is also very low only Rs 7500 (for general) and only RS 35 (for girs and TFW). The placement in mining branch is about 80? on campus. And the highest package gone this year is 12 LPA and the average is about 7-8LPA The classes are well decorated and clean but the lab in my branch is needed to upgrade. The Institute got 2 libraries one is by Institute and other one is run by a club called Gandhi rachnatamak samiti. It has a big playground for sports and a big hall for indoor games. It have a gym too. The faculty of this Institute is very knowledgeable , supportive and helpful.the exams were conducted timely and the questions are moderate in difficulties. I am recently passed from the college and working in a BCCL Mine. I am join the College by merit list. Admission in this college is based on merit list. Some time it's very difficult to take admission, but if you score between 80-90% your selection is assurd. Campus is great, clean and higen class and corridors, large ground to play lots of games and library have lots of books. Teachers are highly educated and helpful, Friendly behaviour, carrying.
