Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU Mullana) was founded in 1993 as a premier deemed-to-be university. MMU Mullana is recognized UGC and accredited 'A' grade by the NAAC. MMU Ambala has consistently topped the list of the best private institutions in India, and ranked 14th in the category of Private Medical Institutions in the list by the Outlook 2025 and 26th in Pharmacy in the NIRF 2025 ranking.

MMU is the best university in Ambala Haryana and a large campus available here and good mess and hostel quality and fully WIFI campus . It prove better teaching quality and make mind set for industrial point of view 93 percent student placed from campus placement cell.
