AP EAMCET 2017 Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) for entry into the first year of the Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2017-2018 in the University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET 2017 Notification: (Released)

The notification of AP EAMCET 2017 for admissions into UG courses for academic year 2017-18 will be released on last week of January 2017 tentatively.

Online applications will be made available from 1st week of February 2017 tentatively.

Exam Dates are announced, for AP EAMCET 2017 MPC group exam dates are 24th April 2017 to 27th April 2017. For AP EAMCET 2017 BiPC group exam date is 28th April 2017.

AP EAMCET 2017 Eligibility:

1) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

2) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

3) The local/non-local status of the candidate should satisfy the requirements of admission.

4) Diploma appearing/passing candidates can also apply.

5) For Engineering Courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

6) For Medical Courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

7) For BAMS/BHMS/BNYS courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

AP EAMCET 2017 Examination Pattern:

1) There are two sessions

10:00 AM to 01:00 PM: Engineering

02:30 PM to 05:30 PM: Agricultural & Medical


3) Examination will be conducted in Offline Mode: Pen & Paper Based Test (OMR).

4) All questions are of objective type only and each question carries 1 mark.

5) The question paper contains questions in English and Telugu medium.

6) Total no. of questions in the question paper are 160 with a total of 160 marks.

7) Duration of the exam is 3 hours

AP EAMCET 2017 Syllabus:

The syllabus will be composed of different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (Zoology, Botany) at the level of 12th or equivalent exam conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Detailed Syllabus of each test paper will be given at the AP EAMCET official website on the release of official notification.

AP EAMCET 2017 Hall Tickets:

Candidate can download the hall tickets from the official website of AP EAMCET 2017. Hall tickets will be available from 19th April 2017. Hall tickets will contain information regarding candidate and test date, time and venue. Candidate has to download the Hall Ticket from the website only.

AP EAMCET 2017 Qualifying Marks:

The qualifying percentage of marks is 25% of the maximum marks. For SC/ST candidates, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.


Ranking will given by taking 75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination into consideration.

AP EAMCET 2017 Results & Rank Card:

AP EAMCET 2017 results will release on 5th May 2017. Score/Rank card will be available after the release of results. Candidates can check and download the results and rank card from AP EAMCET official website.

AP EAMCET 2017 Counselling:

Candidates will be called rank-wise for counselling procedure. Candidates need to register and pay non-refundable counselling fee. There will be certificate verification and candidates have to submit the Xerox copy of certificates. After the counselling procedure, all candidates have to choose the colleges through web options.

AP EAMCET 2017 General Instructions:

1) The Candidates, who wish to apply for AP EAMCET, must apply through online only.

2) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Centre well before so that you can take examination tension-free.

3) The candidate will not be allowed to take exam even if late by 1 minute.

4) The candidate has to use Blue / Black Ball Point Pen only to darken the appropriate circle in OMR Answer Sheet during the exam.

5) PENCIL is strictly prohibited

6) The question paper contains questions in English and Telugu medium.

7) Affix a recent color photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) in the box provided (Bottom – Left side) on the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied.

8) The candidate has to submit the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall on the day of the exam.

9) The candidate belonging to SC / ST category has to submit the attested photocopy of the “CASTE CERTIFICATE” along with the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator on the day of the AP EAMCET-2017 exam in the Examination Hall, in case, the Application number of his/her Caste Certificate is not provided at the time of the Online submission of the Application.

10) Candidate has to select only one HELP LINE CENTRE (HLC) of his/her choice for Certificate Verification and Option Entry at the time of counselling after declaration of results for admission into professional courses. List of HELP LINE CENTRES will be given in Instruction Booklet.

Follow the syllabus and prepare in a scheduled manner.

In the examination Time management is a challenge for the students.

Prepare for exam using EAMCET previous question papers. Students can get an idea about exam pattern, type of questions given in each subject and how to manage the time.
