 APSET 2018 Notification

Good news for assistant professor / Lecturer post aspirants. The AP State Eligibility Test- APSET 2018 notification is likely to be released in the month of April 2018 by Andhra University. AP SET 2018 for recruitment as Assistant Professors or Lecturer in various Universities, Degree Colleges & Institutions of Higher Education in Andhra Pradesh. SET is mandatory for lectureship in colleges and universities in the state. Those who have qualified in the National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted by UGC need not take it. Both government and private institutions consider the SET score while recruiting faculty.

APSET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

 The candidates who have completed their Master's Degree from a UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks for General / Backward Class candidates and 50% marks for SC / ST / PH / VH.

Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Post Graduate examination may also appear in this examination.

APSET 2018 Registration Free:

General category candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 700.

OBC category candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 500.

For SC/ST/PH/VH candidates application fee is Rs 250.

Fee must to be paid through bank Challan only.

APSET 2018 Exam Pattern:

 I-General paper, 60 out of which 50 questions, 50×2=100-1¼Hours(9.30am to 10.45am)

II-Subject Paper, 50 questions all of which are compulsory, 50×2=100, 1¼Hours(10.45am to 12.00noon)

III-Subject Paper, 75 questions all of which are (in depth questions) compulsory, 75×2=150 2½Hours(1.30pm to 4.00pm)
