The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is a state-level selection test administered by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK). It is conducted for admissions into the UG courses in the field of Medical, and dental and From the year 2017, COMEDk is held for designing and Architecture courses, i.e. B.Tech and B.Arch.

COMEDK UGET 2024 exam will be held on the 2nd week of May 2024. COMEDK UGET scores are accepted by more than 190 engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka.

The application form of COMEDK 2024 will be available in online mode for all eligible candidates. The registration process will commence tentatively from the second week of February 2024. The listed steps will have to be followed to fill the application form of COMEDK UGET 2024. Candidate has to apply for this engineering entrance exam on the official website of COMEDK UGET. They have to pay a lot of attention while filling their details in the exam application form because once the form is submitted candidates will not be given a chance to make any changes in the application form.

The application fee for COMEK UGET 2024 is as follows:

• For candidates attempting three subjects: Rs 1600 (PCM)
• For candidates attempting both COMEDK AND Under GAUGE: Rs 2600

COMEDK UGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech Course

• In 10+2 (or equivalent) examination, the General category candidates should have scored 45% marks while SC/ST/OBC category candidates should have secured 40% in PCM. All candidates should have also passed in each subject separately.
• The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or University by state or central government.
• Should have studied Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects – Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses.

COMEDK UGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Course

• The candidates should have studied 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from a recognized University or board.
• Should have passed the examination with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
• Those candidates who have qualified 10+3 diploma recognized by the state or central government will also be eligible.
• 50% marks should have been secured by General category candidates while SC/ST/OBC candidates should have scored 45% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) exam.
• The candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 80 marks in NATA.
• A separate application form has to be filled for B.Arch registration.

Mode of Exam: Online mode (Computer Based Test).

Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions.

Duration of Exam: 3 hours.

Language: English.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for an incorrect response.

COMEDK UGET 2024 Syllabus

The COMEDK UGET 2024 Syllabus will be consist of the 2nd PUC / 12th for engineering and architecture. The complete syllabus will be comprised of mainly three subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Below, we are providing brief syllabus as per the subjects:

Physics: Alternating Current, Current & Electricity, Units of Measurement, Motion in one, two & three dimensions, Oscillations, Kinetic Energy, Heat & Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction

Chemistry: Transition of Metals, Chemical Kinetics, Nuclear Chemistry, Chemistry of Carbon Compounds, Polymers, Chemistry in Action, Electrochemistry, Bio-Molecules, Organic Chemistry

Mathematics: Circles, Vectors, Three Dimensional Geometry, Matrices & Determinates, Trigonometry, Logarithmic Series, Correlation& Regression, Differential Equation, Calculus, Probability, Co-ordinate Geometry

COMEDK UGET 2024 Admit Card

All registered candidates will have to download the COMEDK UGET 2024 admit card by submitting their User ID and password. The admit card is a very important document that all candidates will have to carry to the examination centre. In case the candidates fail to produce the admit card, then he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Various information such as the test admission ticket number, test centre details, timings and more will be available in the admit card of COMEDK UGET 2024.

COMEDK UGET 2024 Result

• Candidates can check their COMEDK UGET 2024 results in the last week of May 2024.
• The result will be declared through online mode on the official website.
• After the result declaration, the merit list will be prepared.
• Candidates will be called for the counselling on the basis of the merit list.
• The conducting authority will also release COMEDK UGET Cut-off for engineering & architecture courses after the result declaration.

COMEDK UGET 2024 Counselling

COMEDK UGET 2024 counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, and allotment of seats, fee payment and document verification. All candidates who have qualified the examination will have to register themselves online for the counselling session. After successfully registering themselves, the candidates will have to select and fill in their preferred courses and institutes for admissions. The verification entry card has to be produced during the document verification process which will be held at the counselling venue. Admissions will be confirmed after the verification of documents.

COMEDK Preparation Tips

• Make a proper schedule for exam preparation.
• Given enough time to each topic & subject such that no topics will be left unstudied.
• Select the best reference books for exam preparation.
• Know & understand the exam pattern & complete syllabus of the examination.
• Practice previous years question paper & sample papers.
• Eat well & reduce anxiety by doing various exercises for a short period of time in between the study hours.
• Make proper notes of concepts& topics which require regular revision
