Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT), Lateral Entry Test (LET), Department Admission Test (DAT), Group Discussion, and Interview (if applicable) for admission to its various programs. The application form for CUSAT CAT 2024 will be available only in online mode, tentatively till the second week of February 2024.
The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a government-owned self-governing university located in the Kochi district of Kerala. It offers 9 different faculties at present, which include engineering, environmental studies, humanities, law, marine sciences, medical sciences and technology, science, social sciences, and technology has 27 departments for UG, PG, and research programs.
The online application form for CUSAT CAT 2024 is expected to be available in the second week of February 2024. To fill out the CUSAT CAT application form, candidates need to go through three steps:
To get registered, candidates have to enter personal details, including name, email address, and date of birth. The email ID used for registration will be the user name. Upon successful registration, OTP will be sent to the candidate's email ID and registered mobile number.
Candidates need to log in using the user name and password to fill out the CUSAT CAT 2024 application form. The CUSAT CAT application form has a number of fields like address, nationality, and parents’ name. Candidates must ensure that they enter only genuine information. The candidate will also be required to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature and furnish course details.
To complete the application process, the candidate has to pay the requisite CUSAT CAT 2024 application fee.

CUSAT CAT is held for various courses of study. Each course contains a different number of questions, subjects, etc.
Examination Mode: CUSAT CAT will be conducted in online mode (CBT).
Question Paper Type: The question paper will contain objective-type questions.
Number of Questions: Each course has a different number of questions.
Subjects: Each course will include different subjects.
Exam Duration: The time allotted to answer the questions will be 3 hours.
Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), which is the exam conducting body, doesn’t generally release any CUSAT CAT syllabus. However, going by trends of previous years it is expected that the syllabus of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be based on the syllabus of Class XI and Class XII of the state board.
Availability of CUSAT 2024 admit card for CAT will be from the 20th Mar to the 6th of April 2024. The admit card will be issued online on the official website of CUSAT.
The result of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be declared tentatively in the month of May 2024. To check their results, candidates will have to log in to the result portal using the CUSAT CAT 2024 Roll Number.
The counseling of CUSAT CAT 2024 will start tentatively in the third week of May 2024. To participate in CUSAT CAT 2024 counseling, candidates need to get registered (Option Registration) and exercise choice filling; during the process, candidates have to fill in their choice of college and branch.
The Counselling of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be done as per the merit list of CUSAT CAT 2024, with candidates ranked higher in the list getting preference over those ranked lower. The seat allotment of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be conducted online, based on the options entered by the candidate and his/her merit rank.
