GCET 2018 Application Form

The application form of GCET 2018 is likely be available in the third week of March 2018. There are two sets of Forms A and Form B associated with GCET 2018 admission. Candidates need to fill only Form A to sit in the entrance examination. If a candidate qualifies in the entrance examination, only then the candidate has to fill Form B, as it is meant for counselling round.

How to fill GCET 2018 application form

  • Download the application form (Form A) and print it on a good quality A4 size bond paper
  • Candidates fill in fields like personal, academic, category-related details
  • Affix a recent photograph in the allotted slot. Also, enclose two additional photographs with the form
  • The name of the candidate should be in Capital letters while the date of birth should be the same as mentioned in Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) certificate.
  • Enter postal code and address
  • Pay the application fee through demand draft (DD)

GCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum basic GCET eligibility criteria are as mentioned below:

Age limit:

The age of candidates seeking admission in the area of

Homeopathy, Ayurveda, allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Nursing courses must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year.

There will be no restriction on the lower and upper age limit for admission in Architecture, Pharmacy and Engineering courses.

Nationality:

Only Indian nationals can apply.

Non-resident Indians or NRI with valid passport can also apply under seat reserved for NRI category.

The Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders are also eligible for admissions to seats under NRI category.

GCET 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of GCET (Goa CET) 2018 isn’t yet released by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. Going by previous years’ trends, GCET 2018 is likely to be pen/pencil and paper based test.

GCET 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of GCET 2018 will be issued in offline mode tentatively in the first week of April 2018. The admit card will carry vital information about the candidate and the exam, like details about the exam centre, exam date and time, and instructions to be followed on exam day. GCET 2018 Result

The result of GCET 2018 will be published tentatively in May, 2018. The merit list of GCET 2018 will be published based on the GCET result 2018 and candidates will be invited for counselling. Candidates will be called for counselling based on their GCET 2018 merit list, with higher ranked candidates called first.

GCET 2018 Counselling

The counselling of GCET 2018 will be conducted in offline mode. The counselling process will start most probably in the month of June/July, 2018. Shortlisted candidates will have to to fill Form B to sit to participate in counselling of GCET 2018. Two rounds of counselling will be held initially, followed by additional rounds if required. Candidates are required to bring along originals of all relevant documents and photocopies for verification to the counselling venue.
