Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association Common Entrance Test - KRLMPCA CET 2024 is an entrance exam, conducted for admissions into different graduate courses in the fields of Medical, Dental and Engineering, offered by the institutions affiliated with the association. KRLMPCA CET 2024 is conducted with particular reference to Minority candidates of Karnataka. There are 3 Medical Colleges, 5 Dental Colleges and 14 Engineering Colleges as participating members in KRLMPCA. Since 2024, KRLMPCA is an Entrance Test conducted only for admissions into Engineering Courses.

 KRLMPCA CET 2024 Application Form

The candidates will be able to access the online application form of KRLMPCA CET 2024 tentatively from January 2024. All candidates need to fill out and submit the application form within the specified time frame. Unregistered candidates will not be allowed to attempt the entrance examination.

Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register themselves using their name, email id, mobile number and admission category.

Filling of Required Information: Personal and academic information has to be submitted by the candidates. The photograph of the candidate also has to be uploaded. The following information will have to be filled in the application form for KRLMPCA CET 2024.

Payment of Application Fees: After submitting the required information, the candidates will have to download the filled application form and print it out. The application fees has to be paid in the form of a demand draft of Rs. 1000 in favour of KRLMPCA payable at Bangalore.

Submission of Application Form: The printout of the filled application form along with the demand draft and other documents will have to be sent to the following address before the final date of submission. KRLMPCA CET Application Form should be sent only through Speed Post or by private courier service.

KRLMPCA CET Eligibility Criteria 2024

 All candidates will be required to fulfil certain eligibility criteria of KRLMPCA CET 2024 for admission into the participating institutes. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to participate in the entrance examination. Therefore, all candidates are requested to read the full KRLMPCA CET 2024 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

  • The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. Physics and Mathematics should have been studied by the candidates as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination while the optional subjects are – Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Electronics.
  • English will also be required as one of the language subjects in the qualifying examination.
  • The candidates should have scored 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
  • Those candidates whose 10+2 (or equivalent) examination results are still awaited in 2024 will also be considered eligible for admission. While filling out the application form, these candidates will be required to mention “results are awaited”.
  • All eligible candidates including general merit candidates, religious minority and linguistic minority candidates are eligible to participate in the test and also to select a seat in the member institution based on the merit list prepared and published by KRLMPCA based on marks obtained in UGCET 2024 (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).
  • The religious & linguistic minority candidates should enclose a minority certificate as reflected in the brochure (Linguistic/Religious) duly signed by the Headmaster of the high school where the candidate has studied SSLC or 10th Standard.

KRLMPCA CET 2024 Exam Pattern

Mode of Paper: Offline

Duration of Exam: 180 Minutes (10:00 AM to 01:00 PM)

Language of Examination: English

Type of Questions: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)

Total Number of Questions: 180 Questions

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking

KRLMPCA CET 2024 Syllabus

Questions will be based on the syllabus of class 10+2 or PUC from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Also, candidates can go through the previous year's question papers and mock tests. Candidates have to complete the examination within the allotted time.

KRLMPCA CET 2024 Admit Card

The admit card of KRLMPCA CET 2024 will be available tentatively from May 2024. All registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards by logging into their accounts. KRLMPCA CET 2024 is an important document that all candidates will have to carry to the exam.

How to Download KRLMPCA CET 2024 Admit Card

  • The candidates will have to enter their email ID, mobile number, and date of birth.
  • Click on the Submit button
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are requested to check the admit card for any discrepancies.
  • The candidates will have to download and print out the KRLMPCA CET 2024 admit card.

KRLMPCA CET 2024 Result

The result of KRLMPCA CET 2024 will be announced tentatively in the second week of June 2024. The candidates will be able to access their results in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard/ result of KRLMPCA CET 2024 will be available in online mode and the candidates will have to download and print out the document for future use.

KRLMPCA CET 2024 Counselling

All of the qualified candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling session. The candidates will have to report for the counselling session as per the schedule released by the admission authorities of KRLMPCA CET 2024. The counselling session of KRLMPCA CET 2024 will commence tentatively in the first week of June 2024.

KRLMPCA Exam Preparation Tips

  • This entrance examination is another method /pattern of which the students studied in school. Candidates who are attending the examination must have detailed knowledge about the pattern, syllabus, and other necessary details regarding the exam that they are going to attend. This makes the exam much easier.
  • Time management is an important factor that affects the candidates. So, those who are preparing for the entrance examination need to attend a variety of online mock tests as much as possible. It will help to manage the time for the examination.
  • Also, the candidates have to practice lots of questions based on each subject included in the exam syllabus. Previous year question papers will be also helpful.
  • Candidates must try to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the examination to be selected.
  • Candidates must note the important concepts and formulas while studying and can revise it before the examination.
