RPET (Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test)

RPET 2024 stands for Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET). The state-level entrance test is led for entrance into engineering, architecture, and pharmacy programs at the undergraduate level. RPET is coordinated by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan for admission to first-year undergrad (single men) programs in various controls of the building (B.E/B.Tech) in government-helped and private unaided specialized establishments of the state. Premier engineering colleges like BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur, and other deemed and private universities take after their admission plan.

RPET 2024 Exam Date

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be aware of the RPET 2024 Eligibility Criteria before applying for the exam.

• Candidates belonging to Rajasthan can apply for the examination.
• The age of the applicant should not be less than 17 years and the maximum should not be more than 22 years.
• Candidate must have passed the HSC exam from a recognized university.
• Candidate must have studied PCM Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology as main subjects.
• Those who belong to the general category must have achieved a 45% score in the previous examination.
• Those who are from the reserved category must have attained 40% scores in the previous exams.

Exam Pattern:

• The examination will be commenced in the offline mode.
• Candidate has to attempt the examination in English language only.
• The candidate will get three hours to complete the paper.
• The paper comprises MCQ-type questions.
• The candidate is required to score 120 questions in the exam.
• For every correct answer, the candidate will get a 1 mark. There will be no negative marking.
• The exam has three subjects Physics, an Optional subject, and Mathematics with each section carrying 40 questions.

Exam Admit Card:

The admit card is the most important document that a candidate will receive from the exam conducting board. This card will be released in April month. Candidates can fetch the hall ticket through the official website. Download the admit card and take the printout. In addition to this method, the candidate will also receive the admit card via email from the university.

Exam Result:

The exam result will be released in May. You need to download the admit card from the official website. Check the scores attained in the entrance examination. The university will release the merit list of the selected applicants. Take a printout of the result for further reference.

Counselling:

After the exam result is declared, the merit list will be released and the counselling process starts. During counselling, the candidate must carry original documents along with attested copies. The original documents will be given back after verification. Make a payment of the counselling fee to book the seat for counselling.
