Meet the CAT 2016 toppers:

  1. Avidipto Chakraborty, Kolkata

He scored a perfect 100 percentile in his very first attempt. The best part is that he cleared the misconception that one cannot score 100 without coaching. A disciplined and dedicated self-studying habit made him one of the toppers.

  1. Yash Choudhari, Pune

Hailing from Kolhapur, Yash also scored 100 percentile in CAT in his first attempt. He is currently pursuing BTech from College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP) and was already expecting 99.99 or 100 percentile. Surprisingly, he scored second highest in Quant which was his strong point and highest in the Verbal section which was his weakest section.

  1. Nilanjan Dutta, Kolkata

Another 100 percentile scorer from Kolkata, it is surprising that he has no plans of enrolling in any of India's top Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). This was his second attempt, the first being in 2011 when he scored a 99.43 overall percentile.
