The AME CET (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test) 2027 does not prescribe a rigid "minimum passing cutoff mark" to qualify. Instead, every candidate who appears for the exam is awarded an All India Rank (AIR) based on their performance out of 360 total marks.

The effective AME CET cutoff rank determines two main outcomes:

  1. Seat Allocation: Admission into DGCA/EASA-approved AME institutes, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or Aviation management programs.

  2. Scholarship Eligibility: Up to 100% tuition fee concessions based on your AIR slab.

To secure admission into top-tier aviation institutes with a scholarship, aim for the following score ranges:

  • 270+ Marks: Rank 1 – 100 (Eligible for 50% to 100% Scholarship)

  • 200 – 269 Marks: Rank 101 – 500 (Eligible for 20% to 25% Scholarship)

  • 140 – 199 Marks: Rank 501 – 2,000 (Eligible for 10% to 15% Scholarship)

  • Below 140 Marks: Rank 2,001+ (Eligible for general seat allocation)
