APRDC CET Eligibility Criteria 2026

The APRDC CET 2026 eligibility criteria are carefully defined to ensure that students admitted to Andhra Pradesh Residential Degree College (Nagarjunasagar) possess the necessary academic qualifications and fulfil all residency requirements. Meeting these eligibility criteria for APRDC CET 2026 is a prerequisite for appearing in the entrance test and subsequently securing admission to courses such as BA, B. Com, or B.Sc. at this residential institution.

Nationality and Domicile

  • The candidate must be a resident of India and should have studied in the state of Andhra Pradesh only.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must have completed the Intermediate examination (Senior Inter or equivalent 10+2) in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana in the academic year 2025.
  • Students who have passed Intermediate in compartmental/supplementary attempts are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have passed Intermediate at their first attempt in March 2025.

Minimum eligibility marks

  • Aggregate: 50% (General category); 45% (SC/ST categories).
  • English: 40% marks.
  • Age criteria: Candidates must be between 15 and 17 years old as of August 31, 2025.
  • Applicants with intermediate compartmental qualifications are ineligible for APRDC CET 2026 Students who cleared their Intermediate examinations prior to the current year are also not eligible as only those passing in 2025 may apply.

Stream-specific Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.A. (Political Science/Economics/History):Students from any stream of Intermediate are eligible.
  • For B.Com (Computer Applications/Tax Procedures):Eligible for students from all groups except HEC in Intermediate.
  • For B.Sc (Chemistry):Only students from the MPC group (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) are eligible.
  • For B.Sc (Computer/Data Science):Students from MPC or MEC groups may apply.
  • For B.Sc (Zoology):Only students who studied BPC group (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) in Intermediate are eligible.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must submit all original documents for verification during counselling after clearing the entrance test.
