Q1. Is BITSAT counselling online or offline?
Ans. It is entirely online, including registration, choice filling, and result notification.
Q2. Can a candidate edit their preferences after submission?
Ans. Edits are allowed only until the official deadline before the first allotment round. After “choice locking,” no changes can be made.
Q3. How many seat allotment rounds are held?
Ans. There are usually 5–6 rounds, including waitlist and upgradation opportunities.
Q4. What if a candidate is allotted a seat but prefers a higher choice?
Ans. Candidates can accept the allotted seat and remain in the waitlist for an upgrade in subsequent rounds.
