CMAT 2026 (ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA)

The CMAT 2026 eligibility criteria set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are as follows

• Educational Qualification:
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
• Final-year students of bachelor’s degree courses are eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of the academic session for which they are seeking admission.
• For most MBA/PGDM programs: No stream restrictions—graduates from any discipline can apply.
• For Executive PGDM: Graduation (at least 3 years’ duration) + a minimum of 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum Marks:
• Most sources state no minimum marks requirement for appearing in CMAT

• Age Limit:
  • No upper age limit applies for the CMAT exam.
  • Candidates must be at least 20 years old.
• Nationality:
  • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
• Number of Attempts:
  • No limit on the number of attempts for CMAT.
• Reservation:
  • B-schools accepting CMAT scores follow the Government of India reservation policy:
    • SC: 15%
    • ST: 7.5%
    • OBC-NCL: 27%
    • GEN-EWS: 10%
    • PwD: 5% in each category.
