KMAT 2024 Syllabus


The conducting body- KPPGCA had announced the KMAT 2024 syllabus. The candidate had to prepare for KMAT according to the syllabus of KMAT 2024. KMAT was conducted in paper-pencil mode and had to be completed in two hours duration. It is crucial for a candidate to understand and know the KMAT 2024 syllabus, as it would not only help them prepare well but also know what to expect in the entrance exam. Apart from the KMAT syllabus 2024, candidates must also be aware of the exam pattern and its marking scheme.

Section-wise syllabus for KMAT 2024

To recapitulate, KMAT 2024 is a paper-based Test with 120 MCQs in three Sections. There is no restriction imposed to move between the Sections. KMAT 2024 is a moderate difficulty level. Section-wise brief details of the Syllabus is mentioned below:

(1) Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension:

This Section is intended to assess the abilities of candidates in grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. Questions on an understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions, and similar language skills. This Section includes the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.
(2) Logical and Abstract Reasoning:

This Section is intended to test the accuracy and speed a candidate can think. Questions in this Section are sets as well as individual ones based on verbal reasoning, analogy among others.

(3) Quantitative Ability:

This Section is intended to test the speed and accuracy of the candidates at numbers, numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, interest, time, and speed, etc. Besides, these topics, there will be questions based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and parts of Mathematics of 10th Class standard. This Test is also used to measure the power of quantitative reasoning, and interpretation of tables, common graphs, and charts.
