List of Fake Universities in India 2018 Declared by UGC

Fake University means that these universities those are not approved by the UGC. These universities are likely as an institution class.The University Grants Commission (UGC) is the nodal regulator of higher education in the country. It is the responsibility of the UGC to keep a check on the quality of the universities across the country.Because of its rigorous approach and work in this regard, UGC has been able to list fake universities in India that had been functioning without an approval. These universities provide to the student Under Graduate  (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) courses in the various subjects and scheme. But there degree and certificate are not approved by Indian govt and University Grant Commission (UGC).

In order to ensure that the students don't fall prey to fake universities, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a list of 22 fake universities on its website.

The following 22 universities are fake as per UGC:
