The exam consists of three objective sections on chemistry, physics, and math with negative marking for wrong answers and the option of English or Hindi question papers.  Here’s the complete RGIPT 2026 Exam Pattern for B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. admissions. Since RGIPT (Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology) does not conduct a separate entrance exam for B.Tech, the exam pattern depends on JEE Advanced 2026 for undergraduate courses and GATE 2026 for postgraduate admissions.

RGIPT B.Tech admission is solely based on JEE Advanced 2026 performance. Here’s the JEE Advanced 2026 exam pattern:
