UGAT 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

The UGAT (Undergraduate Aptitude Test) 2026, will be administered by the All India Management Association (AIMA). It is a central entry point for undergraduate programs such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA, BHM, B. Com, and more. • Qualifying Streams:All streams—Arts, Commerce, and Science—are accepted. There is no stream restriction for application.
  1. Minimum Marks and Aggregate

  • Recommended:While many sources state there is no strict minimum aggregate requirement to apply, most recommend at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam, especially as many participating institutes may require this for admission.
  • Category Criteria:General and NC-OBC candidates are advised to have 50% in Class 12, while reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD) may check for relaxation at the institute level.
  1. Age Limit

There is no age limit—neither lower nor upper—for appearing in UGAT 2026. All candidates who satisfy other eligibility norms may apply regardless of age.

  1. Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear for UGAT 2026. Non-resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign nationals are generally not eligible unless individual participating institutions specify otherwise.

  1. Physical Fitness (for BHM Only)

Candidates applying specifically for BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) may be asked to provide a physical fitness/medical certificate at the time of admission.

  1. Other Important Notes
