Uni-GAUGE-E 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in 2026 for their second Pre-University Course (PUC or Class 12 or Higher Secondary) or an equivalent examination recognized by the State or Central Government. The qualifying examination must include Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational course as an optional subject. English is also a compulsory subject.

Minimum Marks: General Merit candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or optional subjects) and be passed in these subjects individually. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories benefit from relaxation and need a minimum of 40% marks in these subjects.

Age Limit: Candidates should have completed or will complete 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026. Candidates below 17 years of age as on January 1, 2026, may need to provide an eligibility certificate as per university directives.

Diploma Holders: Diploma students can also apply for Uni-GAUGE-E 2026 for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses at participating universities; however, eligibility based on diploma qualifications is subject to policies of the respective member university.

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for Uni-GAUGE-E 2026. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) candidates may apply but may require additional eligibility certification from affiliating universities.

Additional Notes for Uni-GAUGE-E 2026 Candidates:

  • Candidates who were caught impersonating or involved in malpractices previously are disqualified from participating.
