Acharya Nagarjuna University is located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The education institution was established in the year 1976. The university is the outgrowth initiative of the post-graduate centre of Andhra University, which was established in 1967. The centre gained affiliating-university status in 1976 and would open with ten post-graduate courses. The university is named after Acharya Nagarjuna University. The university affiliates the post-graduate programmes of 292 colleges and institutes in Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and Andhra Pradesh. The University accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘B’. INFRASTRUCTURE :College infrastructure is very good. The college is from the 1980s; Our college has the best library in Andhra Pradesh, ranking fifth in the state. Our department labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are clean and tidy with projector facilities.Students have a big playground for playing games.The college is covered with greenery, trees and plants, which creates the present environmentIn one word, it has a very good hostel facility, and the food is awesome. Our college has an auditorium named Dr. H. H. Deichmann and Dr. S. John David auditorium cum seminar Hall. The college conduct number of fests and seminars in this auditorium cum seminar Hall. The college conducts national seminars. The University provides an excellent infrastructure and on-Campus facilities such as University Library with over one lakh books & 350 journals; Computer Centre; University Scientific Instrumentation Centre; Central Research Laboratory with Ultra modern Equipment; Well- equipped Departmental Laboratories; Career Guidance and Placement Cell; Health Centre; Sports Facilities with Indoor & Outdoor Stadia and Multipurpose Gym; Sports Hostel; Separate hostels for Boys, Girls, Research Scholars and International Students; Pariksha Bhavan (Examinations Building); Computers to all faculty members; WiFi connectivity to all Departments; Canteen, Student Centre & Fast-food Centre; Faculty Club; Dr. H.H. PLACEMENTS:ANU Guntur has a training and placement cell within the university which assists students with job and internship opportunities. According to NIRF 2022 report, a total of 85% of students were placed during Acharya Nagarjuna University placements 2021. Acharya Nagarjuna University's highest package is Rs 6 LPA (for UG 4-year programme). The top recruiting companies in my college are Infosys, IBM, TCS, Capgemini, Cognitive, and Wipro.The college is very helpful and actively participates in bringing placements to students.The college also provides placements from top pharmaceutical companies for life science students. They also bring placements from BYJUS company. OTHERS : The college conducts Andhra's first indigenous MOOCS i.e's... Massive Open Online Course. They are free online courses which anyone in the world can attend and learn. The college also conducts competitive exams. The college conducts cultural activities like G. K. quizes, debates, essay writing competitions, games, paintings, Dance competitions..... Etc.
