The All India Institute of Medical Sciences is known for its excellent placements and high-paying job opportunities for its students. The institute offers placements to students across various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs.

For UG students, the median salary package ranges from INR 12 lakhs per annum (LPA) for the 3-year program to INR 24 LPA for the 4-year program. The placement rate for UG students is 100%, with many students opting for higher studies after completing their internships at the AIIMS hospital. PG students at AIIMS New Delhi also enjoy excellent placement prospects. The median salary package for 2-year PG programs is INR 20 LPA, while for 3-year MD/MS/MDS programs, it is INR 40 LPA. 

The placement rate for PG students has improved from 85% in 2022 to 92% in 2023.The highest median salary package of INR 50 LPA is offered to students of the 6-year DM/M.Ch programs. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi's placement cell works closely with top companies such as Damsung, Toshiba, Siemens, and GE Healthcare to provide employment opportunities to its students.

In addition to placements, AIIMS New Delhi also offers internship opportunities to its students. The internship stipend for UG students is INR 36,700 per month, while for PG students; it ranges from INR 64,000 to INR 74,000 per month depending on the program.

As per the latest data, the highest salary offered was INR 24 – 40 LPA (CTC) while the average/lowest salary offered was INR 12 – 20 LPA (CTC).
