Amity Global Business School Application/Admission Process

Amity Global Business School (AGBS) Pune follows a streamlined, merit-focused admission process designed to evaluate both academic foundations and overall communication and problem-solving aptitude.

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • GDBA + BBA (Undergraduate): Successful completion of Class 12 (HSC) from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (excluding physical education, fine arts, and performing arts).

  • PGPM + MBA (Postgraduate): A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, alongside a minimum of 50% in Class 12. Final-year graduation students may also apply provisionally.

2. Application Process

Candidates can apply through multiple channels:

  • Online Mode: Visit the official AGBS admission portal, register with basic details, fill out the application form, upload mandatory academic documents, and pay the application fee online.

  • Offline Mode: Download the application form from the website for physical submission, or purchase the application pack directly from designated Amity Information Centers or the Pune campus.

3. Selection Process

Admission to AGBS Pune programs is finalized through a multi-step evaluation sequence:

  1. Academic Merit & Screening: Evaluation of marks secured in qualifying examinations (Class 12 or graduation). Valid scores in national management aptitude tests (such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT) are also considered for postgraduate applicants.

  2. English Essay Test: A written test administered to gauge writing skills, clarity of thought, and English proficiency.

  3. Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI): Face-to-face interaction and interview rounds assessing confidence, general awareness, career orientation, and overall behavioral suitability.
