Our Institution Bapuji First Grade College, Challakere Arts and Commerce College was started by Bapuji Education Society during the year 1993 with an intention to provide higher education for the students. This college at that time was affiliated to Kuvempu University, Shimoga later to Davanagere University, Davanagere.
The college is situated at Chitradurga road. The college is fully equipped with sufficient classrooms, Library & Information Centre and Hostel facilities. Vast field is available for sports and other activities of the students.The college has a fine team of qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff members.The college offers an Undergraduate course in Arts B.A. with four combinations and B.Com courses. The college was admitted to grant in aid.
The Principal and office of the principal with different sections (Accounts, Establishment, Examination and Scholarship etc.) are easily available to the students in the first floor of the college building. There is an auditorium ‘Bapuji Sabhangana’ to conduct seminars, conferences and various other cultural activities. A separate ladies common room with sanitation facility is provided. Canteen facility is provided with hygienic food and water to cater the refreshment needs of students. It strives to produce intellectually competent, morally upright and strong, compassionately committed, spiritually inspired and nationally dedicated women.
