B.M.T Law College, Purnea was founded in 1982 and is accredited under sections 2(F) and 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956. The Bar Council of India for Law Courses has given this college permanent affiliation. The NAAC awarded this college a Grade "B" accreditation in 2011.
Since 1988, BMT Law College and the Bihar government have maintained a permanent association. Offering LLB and B.A.LLB courses in the legal profession, the college is renowned for giving its students a top-notch legal education.
