Care School of Engineering Application/Admission Process

CARE College of Engineering, Tiruchirappalli, admissions for 2026-27 are managed through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for UG and TANCET   for PG, with management quota options available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.E./B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM); minimum 45% aggregate (40% reserved categories).
  • M.E./M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech in relevant field with 50% (45% reserved); valid GATE/TANCET  score.
  • MBA: Bachelor's degree with 50% (45% reserved); TANCET  /KMAT /CAT/MAT/CMAT  score.

Entrance Exams

TNEA (merit-based for UG), TANCET  (PG), GATE (M.Tech), KMAT/CAT/MAT/CMAT (MBA)

Steps of Admission Process

  1. Register online via TNEA (tnnea.ac.in) or TANCET  portal; pay fee and upload documents.
  2. Await merit list based on 10+2 marks (UG) or entrance rank (PG).
  3. Participate in TNEA/TANCET counseling; choose CARE and branch.
  4. For management quota: Download form from care.ac.in, submit at office with fee.
  5. Verify documents, pay fees, confirm seat.

Required Documents

  • 10+2 marksheet/certificate.
  • TNEA/TANCET  scorecard/allotment letter.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC), Migration Certificate.
  • Caste/Income certificate (reserved).
  • Passport photos, Aadhaar/ID proof.
