Admissions at M.I.E.T. Engineering College, Trichy are split into two entry pathways: the Government Quota (via state-level centralized counseling) and the Management Quota (direct admission through the college). Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility: Any recognized 3-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved Tamil Nadu communities).
Selection: Based on TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) scores or national exam scorecards (MAT/CAT) followed by counseling.
M.E. Program:
Eligibility: A relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
Selection: Cleared score in CEETA-PG / TANCET or a valid national GATE score.
Eligibility: Candidates holding a 3-year Engineering Diploma or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics are eligible to skip the first year.
Minimum Marks: Minimum of 55% marks in the diploma/degree for OC, 50% for BC, and 45% for MBC/SC/ST candidates.
