A pass in any degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. (45% for SC/ST) having studied one amongst Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at 10+2 level or Graduation. Students must have also taken either the PGCET or K-MAT entrance exams.

The candidate should have passed the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by NIASA (National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture), an academic unit of Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination of Ten plus Two(10+2) or its equivalent examination from any streams including Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities from any State board or CBSE/ICSE/NIOS/IB. Mathematics as one of the subjects will be desirable. OR Applicants should have passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Technical Board of Karnataka or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the program.

All Applicants have to clear the admission process comprising a studio test and a personal interview to become eligible for B.Des admissions. Candidates who have qualified in any one of the design aptitude tests including NATA, NID, NIFT or UCEED will be given preference in the admission process.
