Application Process

• Online Application: Candidates must visit the official DSCE website to fill out the application form and pay the application fee. This step is essential for all undergraduate (BE), postgraduate (M. Tech, MBA, MCA), and doctoral programs.
• Entrance Exams: Admission to undergraduate courses typically requires candidates to clear the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK UGET. For postgraduate courses, exams like GATE or Karnataka PGCET are accepted.
• Choice Filling: After applying, candidates engage in online choice filling and locking, where they can list their preferred courses in order of preference.
• Merit List Announcement: DSCE publishes a merit list based on the entrance exam scores and other qualifying criteria. Candidates whose names appear on this list are invited for document verification and fee payment.
• Document Verification: Selected candidates must submit required documents for verification at the college.
• Fee Payment: Finally, candidates must pay the admission fees to secure their seats.

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate Programs (BE): Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics.
• Postgraduate Programs (M. Tech, MBA, MCA): A relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate score (usually 50%).

PhD Programs: A master's degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification is required.

• Candidates can also gain admission through management quota seats if they do not secure sufficient marks in entrance exams.
