Admission Process

Undergraduate Courses (MBBS)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year.

Admission Process:

  • Admission is based entirely on NEET UG scores.
  • Candidates must participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
  • Seats are divided into 'A' Category (Convener quota), 'B' Category (Management quota), and 'C' Category (Management NRI quota).

Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an NMC-recognized institution.
  • Completion of a one-year internship by March 31st of the admission year is mandatory.

Admission Process:

  • Admission is based on NEET PG scores.
  • Candidates must participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

Super Speciality Courses (DM/MCh)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed recognized MD/DNB or equivalent qualifications.
  • Registration with NMC/State Medical Council is required.

Admission Process:

  • Admission is based on NEET SS scores.
  • Allotments are made by the Director General of Health Sciences, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Paramedical Courses: Admissions are conducted by the District Medical and Health Officer based on merit lists, typically in August each year.

  • NEET Admit Card and Scorecard
  • Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and mark sheets
  • ID proof
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Caste/PwD certificates if applicable.

  • Internship completion certificate
