Scholarship for Indira's Single Girl Child
This UGC scholarship program was started with the intention of empowering our nation's female citizens via education. To offset the direct costs of educating girls while they pursue higher education, the government established the Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship. Girls who are their parents' only children are eligible for this grant.
Amount of Scholarship: INR 36,200 each year for two years.
