The Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT) Autonomous, Bhubaneswar, provides an extensive scholarship framework for the 2026–27 academic year. These range from high-value institutional merit waivers to various state and central government schemes, significantly reducing the financial burden on students.

Institutional Merit Scholarships (GIFT-Specific)

GIFT offers direct tuition fee waivers based on your academic performance in Class 10 or Class 12. These are applied at the time of admission.

State Government Scholarships (Odisha)

Students who are domiciled in Odisha can apply for major state-funded programs through the State Scholarship Portal.

  • Prerana Scholarship: One of the most significant schemes for SC, ST, OBC, and SEBC students.
    • Amount: Ranges from Rs.20,000 (for OBC) up to Rs.80,000+ (for SC/ST) per year.
    • Deadline: Usually active from November to January.
  • Medhabruti Scholarship: Awarded to meritorious students (General category included) who scored above 60% in their previous qualifying exam.
    • Amount: Approximately Rs.10,000 per year.
  • Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana: For wards of registered construction workers.
    • Amount: Up to Rs.40,000 per annum for professional courses.
