Gayathri Vidya Parishad (GVP) College of Engineering Application/Admission Process

The admission process at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) is highly structured, following the guidelines set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). As an autonomous institution, it fills seats under two primary categories.

Eligibility Criteria-

  1. Undergraduate (B.Tech) Admission-

Category A (Convener Quota)- Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

Category B (Management/NRI Quota)- Open to students from Andhra Pradesh, other states, and NRIs.

  1. Postgraduate (M.Tech & MCA) Admission-

M.Tech:

  • Primary preference is given to GATE qualified candidates.
  • Remaining seats are filled through AP PGECET counseling.

MCA:

  • Admission is based on the rank obtained in AP ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test).

Step-by-Step Application Guide

Exam Registration: Register and appear for the relevant entrance exam (AP EAPCET/AP ICET/AP PGECET).

Certificate Verification: Once results are out, attend the online/offline certificate verification process organized by the state convener.

Web Options: Log in to the counseling portal and select "GVP College of Engineering (GVPCE)" as your top preference. Use the college code: GVPE.

Seat Allotment: Based on your rank and preferences, a seat will be allotted. Download the allotment letter.

Reporting: Visit the GVPCE campus in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam, with the allotment letter and original documents to finalize admission and pay the tuition fee.

  • Entrance Exam Rank Card & Hall Ticket.
  • 10th and 12th Standard Marks Memos.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) & Conduct Certificate.
  • Study/Bonafide Certificates (from 6th class to 12th).
