Gayathri Vidya Parishad (GVP) College of Engineering Scholarships & Eligibility

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) offers a comprehensive range of financial aid options, including state government schemes, institutional merit-cum-means awards, and specialized technical fellowships.

The following scholarship categories are available for the 2026-2027 academic year:

State Government Scholarships (Andhra Pradesh)

These are the most impactful financial aids for local students, often covering the entire tuition fee.

Jagananna Vidya Deevena (RTF):

Benefit: 100% tuition fee reimbursement paid in four installments.
Eligibility: Students from SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu, Minority, and PwD categories with a family income below Rs.2.5 Lakh per annum.
Requirement: Must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance.

Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (MTF):

Benefit: An annual amount of Rs. 20,000 for engineering students to cover mess and hostel charges.
Distribution: Paid directly to the student’s mother’s bank account in two installments.

Institutional (GVP) Scholarships

The college provides its own merit-based financial assistance for students who do not receive aid from other sources.

GVP Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:

Quantity: Usually one scholarship per branch for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students.
Amount: Typically ranges from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 per annum.
Eligibility: Minimum 60% marks in the previous year and 80% attendance, with a focus on students from lower-income backgrounds.

Specialized Technical & PG Fellowships

GVPCE is particularly generous toward postgraduate (M.Tech) and highly skilled students.

M.Tech GATE Scholarship:

Incentive: GVPCE provides an additional scholarship of Rs.8,000 per month in addition to the standard AICTE stipend of Rs12,400 per month.
Fee Waiver: Full tuition fee reimbursement is often provided by the college for GATE qualifiers regardless of parental income.

M.Tech PGECET Ranker Scholarship:

Ranks 1–500: Monthly stipend of Rs.8,000.
Ranks 501–1000: Monthly stipend of Rs.5,000.

Student Sahakara Scheme:

Type: An "Earn While You Learn" program.
Role: Students work part-time in the library, internet center, or labs.
Pay: Revised rate of Rs.50 per hour (approx. Rs. 600/month for standard hours).

National Level Schemes

AICTE Pragati: For female students pursuing technical degrees (Rs. 50,000 per year).
