Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati – Application/Admission Process

General Application Procedure:

• Online Application: Applicants must complete the online application form available on the official website gcuniversity.ac.in.
• Document Submission: Candidates need to upload scanned copies of required documents during the application process.
• Entrance Exams: Many courses require candidates to take specific entrance examinations such as GCUCAT, JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, and GPAT.

Undergraduate Programs:

• Tech: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and another subject (e.g., Chemistry or Computer Science) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Admission is based on JEE Main scores or GCUCAT.
• Integrated MBA: Requires completion of 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is through GCUCAT or other relevant entrance exams.
• Other UG Programs (BA/ B. Sc./ B. Com/ BBA/ BCA): Admission is based on merit from the 10+2 examination results.

Postgraduate Programs:

• Tech: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission is based on GATE scores or other entrance exams.
• MBA: Requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are through CAT, MAT, or other recognized entrance exams.
• MCA: Applicants should have any graduation degree with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level and at least 50% marks. Admissions are based on entrance exam scores.
