Gauhati Medical College - Application /Admission Process

The admission process at Gauhati Medical College is carried out online. The college grants admission to its MBBS program based on the candidate's NEET UG scores. For MD/MS programs, admissions are based on NEET PG scores. Candidates who qualify must register for the All India and State Counselling Processes, which are managed by MCC and DME, Assam, respectively. MBBS admission process-

DM/M.Ch Admission Process-

To gain admission to the super-specialty courses at Gauhati Medical College, aspirants must apply for and sit the NEET Super-Specialty (NEET SS) examination, which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

Candidates who are eligible based on the NEET SS examination merit list must then register for the counselling process.

Subsequently, candidates are required to engage in the online counselling process overseen by the Medical Council Committee (MCC), which is tailored specifically for the institution.
