GITAM Deemed to be University Scholarships & Eligibility

GITAM (Deemed to be University) offers financial aid and merit-based scholarship schemes to support high-achieving students across its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Scholarships range from 15% to 100% tuition fee waivers, along with specialized concessions for hostel accommodation, financial need, and sports achievements.

  1. Merit-Based Scholarships (Entrance Exams)

Scholarships are awarded based on performance in the university's entrance test (GITAM Admission Test - GAT) or recognized national/state-level entrance examinations.

Management (MBA & BBA)

  • 100% Tuition Waiver: CAT / XAT / GMAT ≥ 95 percentile, MAT / NMAT / CMAT ≥ 99 percentile, or Top GAT score.
  • 15% – 75% Tuition Waiver: Awarded across defined bands for scores starting from 55+ percentile in CAT/XAT/MAT or equivalent GAT score bands.

Architecture (B.Arch)

  • 100% Waiver: NATA Score ≥ 170 / JEE Main Paper-2 ≥ 97 percentile.
  • 15% – 75% Waiver: Awarded based on NATA scores ranging from 70 to 169 or JEE Paper-2 scores

  1. Need-Based Scholarships

  • Eligibility: Available to students who have already secured a 15% to 75% merit scholarship.
  • Income Limit: Annual family income must be less than Rs.12 Lakhs (for programs with tuition ≥ Rs.2 Lakhs/year) or less than Rs.8 Lakhs (for lower-fee programs).

  1. Sports Scholarships

  • Eligibility: Athletes who have represented or won medals at Zonal, State, National, or International levels within the last 3 years.

Slabs: 15% to 100% tuition fee waiver plus 50% to 100% hostel fee waiver based on performance trials and personal interview assessments conducted by the university sports board.
