As a state government institution, the Government College of Engineering (GCOE), Nagpur, provides extensive financial support through the Maharashtra state government's centralized digital platform, MahaDBT. These scholarships can significantly reduce the already low tuition fees, often covering 50% to 100% of the cost for eligible students.

 Merit & Technical Scholarships

Beyond category-based aid, there are specific awards for academic excellence and technical potential:

  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS):  Benefit: 100% Tuition Fee waiver (students pay only development and other fees).
  • How to get it: Applied for during the OJEE /CET CAP rounds. It is awarded strictly on merit to the top 5% of students in each branch.
    • AICTE Pragati Scholarship:  Benefit: 50,000/- per annum.
  • Eligibility: Exclusively for meritorious girl students with a family income below Rs.8 Lakh.
    • AICTE Saksham Scholarship:  Benefit: 50,000/- per annum.
  • Eligibility: For specially-abled students (disability > 40%) pursuing technical education.
