Government Law College (GLC), Madurai – Application/Admission Process

Following is the list of the application process for all the courses that may be followed by the candidates for an easy-process in securing an admission.

BA LLB Course:

Application Mode: Candidates can obtain the application form either by visiting the college campus or by requesting it via post.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
Selection Process: Admission is based on merit, determined by the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The process is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) through a counseling session.

LLB Course:

Application Mode: Similar to the BA LLB, candidates must either visit the college or request the application form by post.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

Selection Process: Admission is also merit-based, relying on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, with the process managed by TNDALU through university-level counseling.

M.L. Course:

Application Mode: Applications must be submitted in offline mode, either by obtaining the form from the college or through TNDALU.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have a BA LLB or LLB degree with at least 50% marks (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates).

Selection Process: Admission is based solely on merit, with no entrance exam required. The selection is made according to the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
