Government Holkar (Model, Autonomous) Science College follows the centralized admission process of the Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, through the e-Pravesh portal. Since the institution is autonomous, once you are allotted a seat via the state portal, you will complete specific internal formalities through the college’s own IT system.

The Application Process: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Online Registration (State Level)

Visit the MP e-Pravesh Portal. You must register here first.

  • Choice Filling: You can select up to 10 colleges. Ensure Government Holkar Science College (Indore) is your first preference if you want the highest chance of allotment there.

Step 2: Document Verification

  • Online Verification: For most students (especially from the MP Board), verification happens digitally based on the database.

  • Physical Verification: If your digital verification fails or you are from a different state board, you must visit a designated Government Help Center with original documents.

Step 3: Merit List & Seat Allotment

Seats are allotted purely based on merit (Class 12th marks for UG; Graduation marks for PG). There is generally no entrance exam for standard B.Sc programs, though BCA and certain PhD programs may require a written test or interview.

Step 4: Final Admission (College Level)

Once a seat is allotted on e-Pravesh:

  1. Pay Admission Fee: Pay the initial admission fee via the e-Pravesh portal to lock your seat. 

  2. College Registration: Visit the official Holkar Science College website to fill out the internal student profile and obtain your institutional roll number.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Sc: Must have passed Class 12 (Science Stream) with relevant subjects (PCM/PCB).

  • BCA: Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

  • M.Sc: Graduation in a relevant science discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (5% relaxation for reserved categories).

Required Documents

Ensure you have digital scans and physical copies of:

  • Class 10th & 12th Marksheets 

  • Transfer Certificate (TC) & Migration Certificate 

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable) 

  • Income Certificate (for scholarship/fee benefits)

  • Domicile Certificate (for MP residents)

  • Passport-sized photographs and ID Proof (Aadhaar)
