Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Science (GAIMS), Bhuj – Application/Admission Process

The Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences is a private medical college established in 2009 under a unique public-private partnership (PPP) model. It is affiliated with KSKV Kachchh University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the enrollment year.
• Education: The candidate must have completed a Higher Secondary School with a 10+2 degree in the science stream, including Biology (or Biotechnology), Physics, and Chemistry.
• Marks: Minimum 50% marks are required for general candidates, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST.
• Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG for MBBS and NEET PG for MD/MS courses.

Application and Admission Process:

• NEET Exam: Candidates must qualify in the NEET UG or NEET PG exam, depending on the course they are applying for.
• Registration: After qualifying NEET, candidates need to register for the state counseling process conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Gujarat.
• Choice Filling: Candidates must fill their preferences for colleges and courses during the counseling process.
• Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET scores and preferences filled during counseling.
• Document Submission: Once a seat is allotted, candidates must submit required documents for verification and pay the admission fee.
