H.R. College of Commerce and Economics provides a variety of financial aid options, ranging from institutional scholarships under HSNC University to state and central government schemes. These programs are designed to support students based on academic merit, economic need, and social category.

  1. Institutional Scholarships (HSNC University)

Since becoming a constituent college of HSNC University, students have access to university-wide financial aid:

  • Gyan Mudra Scholarship Scheme: This is the primary scholarship for deserving students across all HSNCU constituent colleges.
    • Eligibility: Annual family income must not exceed ?3,00,000.
    • Criteria: Based on a combination of strong academic records and financial need.
    • Support: Direct transfer of sanctioned amounts to the student's bank account.
  • Principal’s Financial Assistance: The Principal’s office often provides discretionary financial aid or allows installment-based fee payments for students facing sudden financial hardships.

  1. Government Scholarships (MahaDBT)

Students can apply for various Maharashtra State Government schemes through the MahaDBT portal. These are highly popular for both Junior and Degree college students.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Concession

For EBC (Economically Backward Class) students with family income < Rs.8 Lakh. Covers 50%–100% of tuition fees.

Post-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC/VJNT)

Full or partial tuition fee waiver and maintenance allowance for students from reserved categories.

Eklavya Scholarship

For postgraduate (M.Com) students with 60%+ marks and family income < Rs.75,000.

State Government Daxshina Adhichatra

Merit-based scholarship for high-performing students in graduation.
