H.R. College of Commerce & Economics Application/Admission Process

The admission process for H.R. College of Commerce and Economics for the 2026–2027 academic year is now conducted under the HSNC University, Mumbai. The process is predominantly online and merit-based, with specific entrance requirements for professional courses.

Application Procedure

The college no longer uses the standard Mumbai University portal for most of its specialized courses; applications are centralized through the HSNC University desk.

  1. Online Registration: Visit the HSNC University Admission Portal.
  2. Form Filling: Select "Undergraduate" or "Postgraduate." You can apply for multiple programs (B.Com, BAF, BMS, etc.) in a single application. 
  3. Application Fee: Pay the processing fee (approximately Rs.100 per program) online. 
  4. Entrance Exam (For BMS):
    • If you appeared for the MAH-BMS-CET, you are exempt from the college entrance test.
    • If you missed the state CET, you must register for the H-CET-2 via the HSNCU

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

  • B.Com (General/Specialized): Selection is based strictly on Class 12 (HSC) merit. Priority is given to "In-house" students (those who completed Junior College at H.R.).
  • BMS / BAMMC / BAF: Selection is based on a combination of Class 12 marks and/or Entrance Exam scores.
  • M.Com: Requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/BMS/BAF) with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Required Documents for Verification

Once your name appears on the merit list, you must provide:

  • Class 10 & 12 Marksheets (Original + Copies) 
  • School/College Leaving Certificate 
  • Aadhar Card Copy 
  • APAAR ID (New requirement for 2026)
  • Sindhi Minority Affidavit (if applicable) 
  • Migration/Transfer Certificate (for non-Maharashtra Board students)
