Indore Institute of Law, Indore Scholarships & Eligibility

The Indore Institute of Law (IIL) offers multiple scholarship schemes for the first academic year to support meritorious, athletic, and specially-abled students. The institutional scholarship structures and eligibility criteria apply to the standard undergraduate law programs (excluding Global & Transnational tracks and standard LLB/LLM unless specified):

1. Institutional Academic Excellence Scholarship

Granted based on performance in the qualifying Class 12 board examinations-

Class 12th Board Aggregate Percentage

First-Year Tuition Fee Waiver

95% and above

100% Waiver

90.0% to 94.99%

50% Waiver

85.0% to 89.99%

25% Waiver

2. Performance-Based Entrance Exam Scholarships

Students securing admission via national or institutional law admission tests can claim waivers based on specific score bands:

  • Through IILET (IIL Entrance Test):

    • 141+ Marks: Rs.50,000 waiver on first-year tuition fee. 

    • 125 to 140.99 Marks: Rs.40,000 waiver on first-year tuition fee.

    • 100 to 124.99 Marks: Rs.30,000 waiver on first-year tuition fee.

    • 80 to 99.99 Marks: Rs.20,000 waiver on first-year tuition fee.

  • Through CLAT:

    • 100 Marks and above: 25% waiver on first-year tuition fee. 

    • 85 to 99.99 Marks: 15% waiver on first-year tuition fee. 

3. Sports Excellence Scholarships

Awarded to students who have actively represented their state or country in recognized sports tournaments within the preceding two calendar years:

  • International Level Certificate: 30% waiver on first-year tuition. 

  • National Level Certificate: 20% waiver on first-year tuition.

  • State Level Certificate: 10% waiver on first-year tuition.

     

4. Social & Inclusion Scholarships

  • Smt. Nirmala Devi Bam "Only Girl Child" Scholarship: Provides a 25% tuition fee waiver. Under exceptional circumstances and specific community recommendations, the management can extend this scheme past the first year. 

  • Physically Challenged Category: Students possessing a valid medical certificate indicating a 40% or higher disability under the standard PwD criteria are eligible for a 10% tuition fee waiver.
