JSS Medical College (JSSMC), Mysore – Application/Admission Process

JSS Medical College offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The application and admission processes for each course are listed below:

1. MBBS Admission Process:

• Entrance Examination: Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Application Submission: After qualifying for NEET UG, candidates need to fill out the application form available on the JSSMC website, providing personal and academic details, and upload necessary documents.

2. MD/MS Admission Process:

• Entrance Examination: Candidates must qualify for the NEET PG entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
• Application Submission: After qualifying for NEET PG, candidates should fill out the application form on the JSSMC website, including relevant academic details and documents.
• Counseling: Candidates need to participate in the NEET PG counseling organized by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
• Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on NEET PG scores and preferences.
• Document Verification: Candidates who receive an allotment must undergo document verification and pay the admission fee to secure their admission.

3. Postgraduate Diploma Admission Process: The admission process for postgraduate diploma courses follows the same steps as the MD/MS courses, requiring candidates to qualify for NEET PG and participate in the corresponding counseling process.
4. M.Sc. Admission Process:

• Entrance Examination: Candidates must fill out the application form for the M.Sc. program and appear for the entrance test conducted by JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER).
• Application Submission: Candidates should submit the application form along with the required documents and application fee.
• Seat Allotment: Admission is based on the rank list prepared from the entrance test and aggregate marks of the qualifying exam.
• Document Verification: Selected candidates must complete the document verification process and pay the admission fee.

5. DM/M.Ch. Admission Process:

• Entrance Examination: Candidates must qualify for the NEET SS examination conducted by NBE.
