Jagran Institute of Management (JIM), Kanpur, provides several scholarship avenues and financial assistance schemes to support meritorious, economically weaker, and category students pursuing its PGDM and MCA programs.

1. UP Government Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme

Students enrolled in AICTE-approved PGDM or AKTU-affiliated MCA programs at JIM can apply for the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) Post-Matric Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Scheme.

Eligible Categories: SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and General candidates domiciled in Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must hold a valid UP domicile.
- Annual family income limits apply as per UP government norms (typically up to Rs.2.5 Lakh/year for SC/ST and up to Rs.2.0 Lakh/year for OBC/General/EWS).
Benefits: Substantial tuition fee reimbursement and maintenance allowance transferred directly into the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.

2. AICTE Central & Special Scholarships

Since JIM's PGDM program is AICTE-approved and its MCA program falls under AICTE/AKTU technical frameworks, eligible students can access central scholarship portals:

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students: Up to Rs.50,000 per annum for eligible female students admitted to technical programs based on family income guidelines.
AICTE Saksham Scholarship: Financial assistance for specially-abled (PwD) students pursuing technical education.
National Scholarship Portal (NSP): Central sector scholarships for minority, single girl child, and SC/ST students.

3. Merit-Based & Institutional Financial Assistance

Entrance Test Merit Discount: High scorers in national entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or CUET PG are considered for merit-based fee concessions at the time of admission.
Academic Excellence Awards: Concessions or waivers awarded to candidates with top-tier aggregate scores (e.g., above 80%–85%) in their undergraduate degrees.
Jagran Group Wards / Alumnae Concession: Special consideration or administrative fee relaxations for children of Jagran Group employees or alumni of sister institutions under the Jagran Education Foundation.
